Lesson 3: Books and Films
أهلاً بكم مجدداً! في هذا الدرس، سنتعلم كيف نتحدث عن الكتب والأفلام، ونصف أنواعها المختلفة (Genres)، وسنركز على فيلم "أسد الصحراء". سنستخدم مفردات جديدة تساعدنا في كتابة مراجعة (Review) لقصة أو فيلم.
💡 تركيز اللغة (Language Focus)
عند الحديث عن القصص والأفلام، نستخدم جملاً محددة لوصف النوع، الشخصيات، والحبكة. لاحظ التراكيب التالية:
- Describing the Genre (وصف النوع):
It is a horror story. (إنها قصة رعب)
It is an adventure film. (إنه فيلم مغامرات) - Describing Content (وصف المحتوى):
It tells the story of... (إنها تروي قصة...)
It is about... (إنها تتحدث عن...) - Opinion (الرأي):
I liked it because it was exciting. (أحببتها لأنها كانت مثيرة)
I didn't like the ending. (لم تعجبني النهاية)
الفقرة A: أنواع الكتب (Types of Books)
في كتاب الطالب (Course Book) صفحة 24، توجد خمسة كتب تمثل أنواعاً مختلفة (Genres). دعونا نقرأ عنها معاً:
1. Travel (كتب السفر)
Book: Destination Egypt
This is a guide (دليل) for the traveller (المسافر). It is packed with detailed information (معلومات مفصلة) about the country.
2. Horror (رعب)
Book: The Black Cat
This story has sinister events (أحداث مشؤومة/شريرة) that will keep you awake (مستيقظاً) at night because it is scary (مخيفة).
3. Adventure (مغامرات)
Book: Robinson Crusoe
It is one of the first novels (روايات) in English. Robinson Crusoe is the only survivor (الناجي الوحيد) of a shipwreck (حطام سفينة). He is alone (وحيد) on an island.
4. Fiction (خيال)
Book: The Lord of the Rings
This is an epic tale (حكاية ملحمية) of a journey to destroy evil (لتدمير الشر). The story is set in another world (عالم آخر) not the real world.
5. Comedy (كوميديا)
Book: Mr Bean
This is the funniest (الأكثر إضحاكاً) book of the year. It makes people laugh (يضحكون).
الفقرة B: فيلم "أسد الصحراء" (Fact File)
في الصفحة 25، يوجد ملف حقائق عن فيلم "أسد الصحراء". سنقرأ المعلومات ونركز على الكلمات المهمة:
- 🔹 Title (العنوان): Lion of the Desert.
- 🔹 Genre (النوع): It is a Drama (دراما) and Historical (تاريخي) film.
- 🔹 Director (المخرج): Moustapha Akkad (مصطفى العقاد).
- 🔹 Stars (النجوم/الممثلون): Anthony Quinn and Oliver Reed.
- 🔹 The Story (القصة): The film tells the true story (القصة الحقيقية) of Omar Al-Mukhtar, the Libyan resistance leader (قائد المقاومة) who fought (حارب) against the Italian colonization (الاستعمار) in the early 20th century.
- 🔹 Description (الوصف): The film shows his bravery (شجاعته) and dedication (تفانيه). It is inspiring (ملهم) and powerful (مؤثر).
- 🔹 Interesting Facts (حقائق مثيرة): It was the most expensive (الأغلى تكلفة) Arab film ever released. It cost $35 million.
